Got a new Bosch 11241EVS hammer yesterday, spent all day running to fourteen different stores looking for bits. Most of the stores only had spline or regular SDS, including Home Depot. I was able to find three places that had them, and then only three or four bits, dusty, hanging on a rack in a corner.
So I’m looking for a place online that there’s a good selection, prices are reasonable and they won’t soak me for shipping. Any ideas? If I had known it was gonna be this hard to get bits, I would have bought a spline shank hammer.

I'm located in new jersey and have no problem finding SDS max bits. I have seen them on Amazon.com. Look in the tool section, it's called tool crib. You may also find them on ebay. Tool crib also offers free shipping on many orders. If you a business Grainger sells them. If you need something I can check my local tool store and ship it to you.
White Cap construction supply.
they are trying to get business. See what they have to say.

tell me it's not true.
They certainly aren't advertising it.
I personally will be going to the little guy I've gone to forever, but they were sure trying to introduce me to their store down the street at JLC in Columbus.Remodeling Contractor just outside the Glass City.

My local rep claims Fastenal is one of the fastest growing companies around, might be one near you. Both of our local fastener companies carry SDS bits.

Awhile back I got a SDSMax to sds adapter, Had to special order it and wait. Cost 70$+ and as I was hunting around found it for like 40$, man I hate that. If you want I can back check and find where the good deal was. It's been awhile but I could probably find it.
the local homedepots carry them here and whitecap is where I like to go since they have all sizes there all the time.
Jon, not sure what is a decent price on SDS max bits, but, 7 Corners has a good selection.
