I placed this last evening and am going to saw control joints this morning. I was thinking of sawing at 45 degrees off each corner and then one to isolate the lobe that extends off the main rectangle back to the rock. What would you do?
Thanks,
Lance

What would you do?
No joints. Wet the soil around it. Make it muddy. Wet the 'crete, and cover with plastic. Let the plastic cover the muddy soil. Seal the edges to soil, old concrete, and wall.
Check daily. When the water drops on the bottom of the plastic are dry, make more mud and re-wet the new 'crete.
Repeat for at least 7 days. 14 is better. No additional benefits from repeating more than 28 days.

That is too small for joints. Keep it damp and covered for a week or so like he says.

it will crack on that corner. 45 it and cut it deep 1 1/2 inches
