Just finished with drywall on a 1,100 sq ft. addition. Looking to buy a low cost hvlp system to finish doors and trim. Does anyone have any suggestions on a hvlp? After this, will only be used for small projects.
Thanks

I had been spraying oils, stains and finishes for several years when I finally broke down and tried an HVLP rig for the first time. There's a learning curve involved, especially for something with as much flat surface as interior doors. I'm not sure I'd want that to be the first project I sprayed with unfamiliar equipment.

There is a forum there, with all the advice you could ever ask for regarding HVLP.
Accu-spray makes the best guns I have ever used
as far as the turbine, Apollo is a good one, and Fuji is too.

I had a Fuji for years and loved it. It was a 3-stage.
Just didn't use it enough to justify it collecting dust so I sold it to good old AndrewD.
I'd recommend Fuji.
have been useing an accuspray for about 13 years, the turbine thrashed after about 5 years, i bought a lamb motor from granger for about a 140. bucks, it fit the case with about ten minutes of work and have been spraying ever since. Great gun and a nice set up for back work.
Accuspray is the bomb

I've had good experiences with the Graco 3 stage I used at my last job. If I were to buy another I'd get a 4 stage unit.
builder,
I have both a top line greyco and a fuji 4 stage, i like the greyco gun better and the turbine is quieter and easier to service ( filter cleanings) but aside from that you will be happy with either, find which one you can get stuff for locally and go with that one.
