I have a dilemna!. My remodeler has installed the travertine tile in my master bath, but it is not quality work. I have spent @ 5000k on product alone. It has to be taken out and redone. Am I wrong to think he should be responsible for covering the majority of product replacement costs? What about demoltion cost? Thanks for any insight.

What about the install do you feel is not correctly done?
For a five million dollar job I'd hope there was insurance and a bond.
Lots of people that would like to help shed light on your question - but only if you explain the situation in better detail - some pictures would help a great deal as well.
Often contractors are picked without checking on their past work - they won't do better work on your project than they've done in the past. The bar that signifies acceptable work varies based on what agreement you had up front and to a lessor degree what's normally acceptable.....and that doesn't mean what's normally acceptable to anal retentive clients or to clients who don't care what happens on the other end.
Also, many items that cause clients to throw their arms up aren't hard to fix - a far cry from ripping everything out and starting over.

12 x 12 travertine tiles on shower sides are not square, nor are they flush ie. some stick out quite noticeably. Some might have space for grout but others are so close together that no grout could be placed. Arouind the tub, the tile is cut in such a way that grout lines are 1 inch off when they should have been cut to be a straight grout line. Two recessed shelves were to be installed on one wall, none were installed cause he forgot. Where drywall was added to make shower larger, the mud lineebows out and the wall is not straight. Here the tile is very noticeably off square.
