About a couple of weeks ago I noticed that BT had become molasses-slow via MS Explorer but nice and quick via Netscape. But sometimes Netscape fails to connect. It seems to be a Prospero problem — all my other favorites/bookmarks seem OK. Anyone know how I can fix this?

I have not had a problem with this site, in terms of speed, and I use it almost daily.

When was it ever fast? Today it's been exceptionally slow, all other sites too.
I'm running Netscape also. Can't say I have any real problems on this site. And yes, it loads faster than IE on my end too. That's one of the big reasons I use it.
Have you cleaned up your machine recently with Spybot AND AdAware? Free stuff if you haven't got it yet. Run the immunize on Spybot after you've cleaned up. Then clean up your machine with both programs every week or so, would be my advice. See if that makes the difference for ya.
Have you emptied your temporary internet files recently as well?
You might also consider downloading and running RegCleaner. Use the help guide to familiarize yourself first.
Doing all of the above should get you back in pretty good shape.
Oh yeah. And don't forget to download Zone Alarm if you don't have that. Very important thing to have also.
