A few years back I read an article in FHB about coating over badly cracked plaster walls. The article described a system of using a fortified joint compound over wide adhesive-backed fiberglass tape. The system worked very well as the fiberglass mesh isolated the cracks underneath at the same time it provided a base for the joint compound to bond to. I’ve also used the wide fiberglass in other applications but haven’t for a year and the supplier I used, denies ever handling it. I’ve called all over my area and can’t find anyone who has it. Does anyone out there know of the product and where I may be able to get it either online or mail-order. Thanks for any ideas!
