I have to paint some pressure treated plywood that has been made into hollow blocks about the size of concrete blocks. I’ve talked about this here before and the general agreement was that it will be hard to get any paint to stay for very long on the PT. The blocks are pretty rough and I thought of something that would smooth them as well as coat them and thought of Dry-Lok. Is Dry-Lok stricktly for concrete, or would it stick to PT plywood?

I used something called 'SealSkin" I believe it was called to coat some PT posts and it's held up for 3 years so far. It's one of theose synthetic plaster products made to cover ICFs.

Thanks for the reply. As I said to bldrbill, I will be going to a real paint store and will ask about this and the BM Fresh Start. Was also thinking about synthetic stucco, but that's probably more work than I care to do.
Danno--I've had good results painting PT if it is good and dry. Prime it first with BM Fresh start.
Thanks. The block maker said to got to a paint store and get a special primer--I'll bet that's what you are talking about--the BM "Fresh Start." The PT web site I looked at said just to wait a couple weeks for the wood to dry before painting. The installation isn't until June 1, so I can give it several weeks to dry out.
