I have a partition between my kitchen and living room. I have a truss house that is two story and a high ceiling in the living room. Directly over the kitchen is the master bedroom. I want to open up the wall completely to give the feel of more room. How do I tell if it is load bearing and if so what is then the largest window I can have and still support the ceiling above?

confused about which wall you want to open.
first floor wall dividing kitchne / living or econd floor wall dividing living vault area and master bed.?
first floor wall connecting kitchen to living. living has vault. I dont want to open the upper wall where the master is. If I could find my camera I would take a picture.
Which way are the floor joists under the bedroom running?
If they are parallel to the wall you want to remove, chances are the wall is not load bearing.
If the floor joists run into the wall you want gone, that wall is holding up the bedroom floor. Do not remove.
