That's a tough call. They are both reputable companies. We completed a home last year using the Pella architect series. I was somewhat disappointed in the quality for the price. The Pella rep and supplier did an excellent job in taking care of issues that did arise. They have an excellent service dept. in our area. Have used hundreds of Milgard vinyl windows. Great product. I haven't had the opportunity to use their fiberglass window, but from what I've seen, they too are a quality product. You might consider looking at the Loewen product out of Canada, and fwiw, I think that Hurd is a good window for the money.
Just my two cents worth.
