Hi,
I’m in the process of planning my home renovation and need two good sources for siding and windows.
The siding should be a composite but look like wood and be cheaper than wood.
The windows – there are many of them, as we are enhancing a 50’s california-style ranch – must good quality, wood, and less expensive than the major brands.
Any ideas? Thanks!

check out James Hardie siding it's a fiber cement siding that you can get in a few different forms most of which are textured like wood. it's really a great product.it comes factory primed or you can order it factory painted. the pre painted is kind of a pain to work with.an 8 1/4" by 12' peice goes for about $6 down here in South Texas.good luck
