OK, I give up. My client wants a wood entrance system to replace the rotten wood one. No one in this area (columbus, ohio) seems to have access to it. All I hear is fypon. My customer keeps rejecting it. Specifically, an acorn pendiment with dentil & fluted pi;astes. Any ideas on a source?

Rob, try a Morgan door distributor. We've a few options here in the NorthEast... worse case, send me an email with sizes and give me a week to run down a source/price... you deal with the shipping!
*Rob,Have you thought of having a local make one. The price probably be high but if that is what your customer wants.Rick Tuk
*What is fypon? What is a "wood entrance system"?I am beginning to feel stupid again.
*Me too, Scooter.
*An entrance system is all the decoratitve work surrounding the door (pilasters, rams head etc.) Fypon is a polystyrene extrusion that takes the place of wood in this & other applications. There was recently an article in FHB on using it for interior trim.
