About 7 years ago(before I started contracting) we had the worlds worst roof put on our house buy the worlds worst roofer. Everytime the wind blows i’m guaranteed some shingles on the ground and a trip up on my roof to fix them. Well it happened again yesterday and quite frankly i’m too busy to fix it this time(leave in the dark, come home in the dark). I guess i’m just going to call someone. Anyone else ever find themselves in this situation? Should I just bite the bullet and fix it myself, or should I let someone else do it?

Find a good roofer and you will start to use him on all your contracting jobs. We no longer do our own roofs except on the smallest jobs and I can't say that I miss it one bit.
Not a bad idea. I've done roofs in the past but i'm now trying to be less diverse, not to mention personnel changes in my company. My ex-partner was the roof specialist. I dont miss roofing one bit, neither does my liability insurance payment.
A good roofer is like a good car mechanic. You treat them with kid gloves because they are golden. Find and use the roofer. They are worth every penny.
