What is the correct way to wrap a treated garage door with Coil stock? The MFG. says that the coil stock should not come in contact with the treated lumber. Will the stainless nails hold up?
Thanks
Tim

Pre wrap with Felt paper or Tyvek. SS nails will out live the Alum.

tyvek if your watching pennies, grace -vycor if your not.
I dont think I would use vicor (or whatever watershield you want to call it)
I would use a heavy felt paper and stainless nails.
In hindsight, I would not have used the PT wood and capped the raw wood (hold it up off the slab 3/4" +- or go the extra money and use a PVC trim.
I have given up on capping the garage door bucks and use AZEK or equiv now. It is a little more $$ but easier to manage and takes much more abuse!
