Anyone use it? I know it’s old technology, but I don’t have any use for pretentious theatrical “scene” lighting and other fancy stuff that the new competitors are flogging; I just have a few devices that I need to switch remotely and I might get into some of the security features. I’m thinking about the $99 starter kit.
Advice appreciated,
Scott.

hey. we have had a x10 system since the 8th day when god created x10. security system is ####. however the light systems work very well, and have been great to us. i think a monthly fee to some adt or brinks would be better spent.
Thanks. When I say 'security', I'm really just talking about turning lights on and off to make the place lived in. We live in a rural, extremely low crime area (one B & E in ten years in the whole area), so I'm not too concerned. I'm glad the switching equipment works well; that's what I'm looking for.Scott.Always remember those first immortal words that Adam said to Eve, “You’d better stand back, I don’t know how big this thing’s going to get.”
