That’s right… but I’m actually talking about Can Lights!

Thanks all,
Brian

Im into small round light cans. The upper proportions can be small as well its the lower area that matters.
They are hard to find though, well ones that are attractive as well.

Perhaps the subject bears closed scrutiny. But we've messed with this poor guy's thread enough...

And here I thought he was talking about her headlights....go figure.

Don't know about the women's movement, you can can that...but I like the way they move. I'd have to say I'm with Boss Hog for my fav.
I thought one of you would at least have the sense to say "my wife's"!! I know, that's right up there with... "yes honey... that dress does make you look skinny".
Tough question... sorry to be so vague. I know there are a lot of options. I thought a few folks might have a 'favorite' approach they take with can lighting, but I think I can definitely be accused of laziness here, to be quite honest. No harm... I'll dig around a bit.
And, Boss... you're right... I did set you up for that one! LOL
Thanks all.

It's O.k. to think out of the box, Just don't walk off of the plank!
Take a look at Juno, but you'll probably have to go to a lighting store or electrical supplier to see them.

Progress Lighting out of Spartanburgh S.C. Best bang for the Buck!
on a good recessed light fixture
Give us more info. Is this for new work, a retrofit; line voltage, low voltage; incandescent, fluorescent, etc.?
The trims get even more complicated, small, medium, large; effects; finishes, etc.
It's easy to think of all recessed fixtures are alike, they are "supposed" to be unobtrusive, after all. The trick is in the effort to make them unobtrusive.
For new work, Juno; for remodels, Halo.
Do Juno or Halo seal up well. I want to put cans in and the space above is unheated. Do any prevent air flow?
Juno has "IC" cans that help prevent airflow and allow insulation to touch the box.
Because they get hot, non-IC cans require insulation to be kept 3" or more away, depends upon the specific unit.
