CREE CR6 LED Recessed Light Review – 2 years later
LED bulbs have been a really mixed bag for me over the last 8 years that I’ve been using them. My first experience 8 years ago with some replacement BR30 bulbs (at $130 each) resulted in 4 out of 5 bulbs dying in the first year. Since then we’ve used some $250 recessed LED cans and some $40 replacement LED Bulbs to mixed success. Needless to say I’ve been shy on recommending any particular LED product until now.
We installed 40 of these CREE CR6 Bulbs in a house two years ago and I had the chance to film the Architect/Client Eric MacInterney of Heimsath Architects about his experience with this bulb.
