As Fine Homebuilding’s products editor, manufacturer’s often send me samples of their latest tools and building products. When I get something interesting, I often show my coworkers to get their thoughts. I can tell you that few things have gotten such a universally positive reaction as the can of WD-40 sent to me this morning.
The tried and true product now employs a flexible straw that allows you to spray around obstacles and in tight locations. No, I’m not talking about the little red straw that’s packed with nearly every aerosol lubricant. This new corrugated straw is 8 in. long and holds its shape when you bend it. The EZ-Reach straw is available on the 14.4-oz. size of WD-40, which sells for about $8. This is about $2 more than a 12-oz. can without the EZ-Reach straw.

The product is good and I have used it for many years....If you can get it out of the can. Lucky to get 3/4 of a can used. And the company is no help. I keep saying I need to make the leap and buy it in bulk and use small pump bottles but haven't. Frustrating
