The Sears store here in town has several 1/4-inch Craftsman oilless staplers for $35. That’s about half price. I didn’t catch the model number, but it’s similar to Sears Item #: 00918408; Mfr. Model #: 18408 only 1/4 inch rather than 1/2 inch.
Does anyone have any experience with this stapler?
I would use it occasionally, maybe 1000 staples/year.
A comparable PC model at Home Depot is $88. I have another PC brad nailer (FN250A)that has caused zero problems in the year I’ve had it.
Thanks for you help!

Hey TX,
I've got two of them, and use them a lot. Never had a problem.
