I’ve got an old 12″ table saw, still in excellent condition and a solid workhorse for me. It has a 5/8″ arbor. I’ve been using the same four blades (steel not carbide tipped), and I have had them professionally sharpened many times ( in rotation ). I bought a couple of 12″ carbide-tipped blades with 1″ arbors, assuming that I would be able to find an adaptor/reducer. I cannot seem to find one however. Does anyone know where I can get such an item? It seems like it would just be a sort of a thick washer with the appropriate ID and OD.
Yes I know I can get 10″ blades with a 5/8″ arbor, and I have done that. But there are lots of times that the extra diameter is helpful. (Of course the best alternative is to spend the thousand or so to upgrade to a better 12″ table saw, but I really can’t justify that.)
Appreciate any sources — thanks.

You're talking about a precision-made ring, 1" OD x 5/8" ID, thickness same as sawblade, right?

Rick,
Not a direct answer to your question, but Forrest Manufacturing will certainly make you a 12 inch blade with a 5/8 arbor bore, fair guess that Ridge Carbide Tool will also. Additionally, either of these sources might be able to help you out with bushing your existing blades..
