1925 Shingle home turned into fake tudor
We bought a 1925 home in Carmel, CA. We think it was originally all shingle (part of the shingles remain on the upper section). However, someone decided to make it look like a tudor. It looks as if fake boards have been added with paint/stucco and the home has been covered with some kind of stucco. I noticed at the back of the home there is an area where the brown “board” is peeling away. I want to remove the stucco look and restore the home to it’s original look or replace it with stone veneer. Can anyone suggest what needs to be done, what kind of costs would be involved, and where I would find the right person to do this kind of work? Thank you.

A couple of photos would be helpful,
especially of the area where the board is peeling away.
Ok, let me get those and I'll send them along. Thank you.
