The electrical section of the blueprints for my renovation call for electrical service to be upgraded to 250 amps. That portion of the plans was prepared by a consulting engineer, not the architect. The electrical subcontractor says there ain’t no such thing as 250 amp service- so he wired it for 200 amp. Both seem to be nice, knowledgeable fellows, but
i someone
has to be wrong, incompetent, or worse. GC says he doesn’t know… what’s a poor homeowner to do?
Disclaimer: I’m not doing any of the work myself except signing checks.
Thanks,
Chris
