I’ve got a few clients that have wooden frame, 6 glass storm doors. There fairly common around here, and they look nice with a six raised panel door behind them, but everybody I know that has one, has problems with warpage… it’s the wood frame.
The look basicly the same as your average six panel door, but instead of panels, there is plain flat glass, and the unit is the thickness of an average stormdoor.
Does anyone know if these are made with frames other than wood? I’ve ask and lowes, home dep, and they just shook their heads.

You expected a different reaction!
I'd think that would be a custom door, maybe try a true door company, or a custom door manufacturer.

Actually, I just saw one in the Depot today...and I NEVER go down their door or window aisle..just a freak occurance adn even weirder you would ask about the same thing! But there are door companies that make thicker doors in a synthetic material. I was struck by it and felt it. The stiles were about 5" wide, and about 1 3/8" thick, I'd guess. It seemed better than the usual crap that was next to it, but the term "slab" didn't cross my mind either, LOL>
Worth a look though.
