I have a client that does not want to use a plastic or fiberglass bathtub, However she would like to have a 66″ length, it seems the only choice is cast and the price of $1,500.00 CDN. along with the weight to get it to the third floor is an issue. Please advise if any one has heard of a 66″ steel or other enviormentally friendly product.

This is just one example that I found on the Kohler site, they had tubs in 5'5" and 6'.
Thanks Doug
Kohler tubs are made of cast iron , if I need to go that way I will however getting a 450lb tub up two flights of stairs along with the cost is something I am not looking forward to . I was hoping to find a steel tub if possible.

Yea, I didn't see any steal tubs that long, not saying that you cant find them though.
I just helped carry a 450 lb whirlpool tub down a set of spiral stairs, wasn't any fun but we had gravity as our friend. Now I got to find out how to get it up to the second floor of my house!

turn the house upside down...
then you'll only have to carry into the 1st floor...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->
WOW!!! What a Ride!Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Are you talking drop-in tub or alcove tub?
Have you checked out americast by American Standard. I know they have a 65" drop in tub, not sure about the alcove tubs
