Got a 24″ and a 48″ metal ruler/straight edge that I use a lot. I want to buy a 72″ version, but having a little trouble locating one.
Anyone know of a good source?
Thanks.

"I have a 60" Johnson..."
Ahhhh, must be story time again...
Yup.
Hard to beat that boast.
I figured i'd hear about it when I started talking about my johnson.
Johnson makes 'em. Try http://doityourself.com/store/straightrulesandyardsticks.htm
I have one from the carpet business, but don't remember where it came from.
Hope this helps. Rich.
Don't know where you live but Canadian Tire has 'em. Plus they were 50% off a few months back so I got one for $27 CDN. Handy for doors and a lot more.
Mayes Brothers Tool mfg co. makes a 72". Carpet and flooring layers have some nice straight edges. They are usually carried by companies that sell carpet installation tools and supplies to the trades. Check the yellow pages for carpet layers equipment and supplies. They aren't cheap.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
