City repaired water line leading to our development. Water out off and on for three days. Finally fixed last night, but we’ve had no water since then. Water dept came out to check. Seems there’s plenty of water hitting the meter, so problem must be on my end. Plumber hasn’t shown.
Our configuration is the meter sits 220 ft down a steep hill from the house. Have a faucet down by the meter and one up by the house. Pump just inside the house to regulate pressure. Getting water from the faucet by the meter. Not from the other. No air, no gurgles. If I run pump, it runs till it hits auto shutoff, but no water.
Theory is we have an air pocket in the supply line. If so, how to clear? If that’s a bad theory, what’s a better one?
Thanks for the help–we’re beginning to stink here!!!!!
