Just started on building a house for myself- I really like the look of owens corning Berkshire shingle-Question has anyone used this or Certainteed Centennial slate shingles- They seem pretty pricey, I would like to hear comments if anyone has any experience with them-thanks

Never used either, but have done lots of Certainteed Grand Manors. I like the look, but they are pricey.

At least - maybe more. I haven't done any in a year or so.Why is it every time I need to get somewhere, I get waylaid by jackassery?
