Dude, There is a fitting that my plumber uses called a sharkbite. Could this be the fitting you speak of? Jay
Yep.http://www.cashacme.com/sharkbite.phpSo a search of sharkbite. IIRC it was generally like, but to expensive for regular use..
.
A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Bill, We do a lot of Kitchen and bath remodeling and I use the sharbites to cap off existing plumbing during demo until the plumber gets on the job. Although they are expensive they save us money because a carpenter can slip them on with out having to call in the plumber during the demo phase. Jay
souns like it is the "shark bite" and they are not cheap
when your paying labour and only doing 1 or 2 fittings or in a tight spot for a torch they look a lot cheaper
