Well time is running out. I have some thompson’s acrylic sealer to get down on my driveway before it gets really cold. Instructions say not to apply if it’s to get below 50 degrees for less than a twenty four hour period. Can I fudge it a little and apply it anyhow?? It will be 50/55 degrees next monday and tuesday, with lows of about 35 overnight. If I put this on with a cold night coming, could I majorly screw up how the drive looks??
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Gary, I would stick to the manufacturer's recommendations. You could get moisture trapped under the coating and cause it to peel or blush ( a white coloured haze)BTW I wouldn't use Thompson's. I use a commerical grade sealer (Hiac). It will stand up better.
*Would it peel in big sections, or just flake off??Gary
*The acrylic usually dries faster than snot on the face of a speeding biker......So.....if:the slab is in the sun......heats up with solar gain.......and you haven't had rain in a few days......I'd give it a go in the afternoon.....'bout 2:30 pm.Luck
