I am putting down a flagstone walkway/stairs set in mortar over a cement base. When I first put on the stair treads the color seemed a bit off but nothing to be alarmed about. Until it was all done… The treads that they gave me were definitely more of a bluestone whereas the field of the flagstone is a fullcolor mix. (mostly greens, some browns and some lilac but no blue)
Is there anyway to add a dye or stain to the bluestone that will make it slightly greener in color? I have seen a few brick stains that would work but they are saying that they are not for floor/horizontal applications.
Thanks!

Look at their concrete stains. Two completely different types available - nonacidic and acidic. They each have their place. Read and learn about them.
Thanks for the pointer. I'll definitely check out the specs and contact them before attempting it. All of the other concrete stains I had found were powders so this will be a good option.
Might be obvious, but if you choose to try concretee stains be sure to do a test on a scrap piece first. Its definitely more art (or alchemy) than science with this stuff.
I will definitely test it out quite a bit. I am not sure if I should add yellow to make it more green or if I should just add green. Either way, it will be added slowly and quite diluted to start. :-)
