I’m planning on building onto my SE Michigan home a four season sun room which will be supported over a crawlspace. I have seen some of the threads regarding conditioning the crawlspace and the appropriate building techniques associated with managing moisture, ventilation etc. Is there a site that any of you are familiar with that demonstrates all of the caveats of the proper building techniques for my climate? I remember a FHB feature that discussed this but now I can’t find my old issue. Thanks,

D,
Look for Fine Homebuilding issues 125, 153, and 162.
153 has an article on sealing a crawl.
162 touches on crawls in the Top 10 Blunders article by Lstiburek.
125 also touches on crawls in Fixes For Damp Moldy Houses by Lugano
These might be available online at a small cost.
Another web site is Building Science Corporation at http://www.buildingscience.com/
Type crawlspace into the Google on that page and you'll find plenty of links.
