Picked up a really nice old DeVilbis compressor this weekend, but it has no tank. I’m thinking about rigging up one of those 5gal air storage tanks, but they have no drain. That’s obviously a concern. Does anyone out there know of a source for reasonably priced air compressor tanks in the 3-7 gallon range? What about any thoughts about welding in a threaded boss for a drain valve into a storage tank?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
