I’m looking for Alternatives to real slate for a re-roofing job on old, classy looking house. I’ve used Slateline on a new house, but I’d like to find a little better substitute on this one. Anybody aware of a good imposter with a price more closely in line with a 30 or 40 year fiberglass shingle?

What is slateline? I was at the local home & garden show a couple of weeks ago, and there was a display for rubber roof tiles molded to look like slate and cear shingles. They were talking about 50 year warranties.
