To prevent any galvanic corrosion, what are they best fasteners to hang an aluminum sign on my pressure treated stake body dump trailer. Its not raw aluminum, but coated in who knows what. Thanks!

Whatever, make sure they're tamper-proof.
Check out this neat table listing metals in order of their electro potential. Metals close to each other will produce less galvanic current that those far apart from each other.

One of your choices appears to be Uranium screws :)

paint.
Dont believe a word I say, I am alway wrong, just ask BOB
That should help discourage theft.

Yeah get some U235 screws and you'll be sure to illuminate the sign too.
Use 3/4"x 2" stainless steel marine grade aircraft space-shuttle heat shield tile rivets.
Doesn't much matter since they'll be there long after the ACQ finishes digesting the aluminum signs. <g>
Good Luck
Ive been googling for an hour now and all I can find is 1"x 2" stainless steel marine grade aircraft space-shuttle heat shield tile rivets, is that close enough?
Or plastic push rivets.

I dunno Ron, sounds a little overkill to me. Try McFeely's or Piffin's for "specialty fasteners".Live in the solution, not the problem.
Ron,
not being a smartazz, [ at least not this time :) ], but how about Al machine screws/nuts, should be available at any good hardware store.
Geoff
I was thinking stainless or maybe those colored screws they sell for decks ("ceramic coated"?). But as another poster said, the PT will eat the aluminum sign--unless maybe you could glue tarpaper to the back of the sign--or put on bituthene (self-sticking roofing membrane like Grace Water and Ice Shield).
why not just paint your name on the trailer itself without the alimiumn
just use aluminum pop rivet like eveybody else does.I sorry i could not help, please forgive me, go ask BOB, he knows everything

We use stainless steel bolts to attach our aluminum job signs to unistrut legs, which we bury in the ground. Works well, no galvanic reaction because the aluminum is painted and the unistrut is epoxy coated.
