I am getting ready to start on a Pre-Engineered metal building to be used as an office. The building is going to be 60×42 with flush girts and straight columns. The front of the building will be framed with typical 2x construction, sheathed with OSB and have brick attached to it, The rest of the building will be covered in metal. Most of the window openings will be 3’0x4’0.
What type of windows should I use?
Will Vinyl get to hot next to metal? What about wood clad windows? Is the pricing for commercial aluminum reasonable?

I was hoping somebody here would have experience with windows in a metal building. I am not sure if Vinyl would work in this application as all the windows I see are aluminum in steel buildings. I am not sure how efficient commercial aluminum windows are.
