You probably want one light enough that you can throw it, or swing it on a rope.
Oh, wait .. you said ATTACH!
LOL.. took me awhile to figure out what you were talking about...good catch
are you asking about the anchors that go into the wall?
Not the anchoring hardware itself, right?
if it's the actual anchors ... I'd say old style lead lag shields. That's what's used around here.
if it's the hardware ... find an awning shop. They'll have the "claws" ... or "clamps" ... or what ever the real name for them is ...

Yes... the anchors that go into the brick. 3 1/2-5 1/2" brick ? Will epoxy help? Or just use the shields by themself? thanks
epoxy probably couldn't hurt ...
but I've done it just with shields.
all that were "awning company" installed that I've moved or removed were just plain old shields too.

We had some old soft brick a couple of years ago we were afraid to count on holding a wood framed awning - roof on an old bulding. In this case it was possible to drill through the wall with a 12 inch bit and use 1/2 inch threaded rods. We peened the ends too.
