anybody got and use one of those Perpendicular lines generating lasers???
you like it???
I seen one somewhere for less than 100$
seems like it would be a good compliment to a chalk line and a square…
I’d like to build the world a home
and furnish it with love
grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves
I’d like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony
I’d like to hold it in my arms
and keep it company
I’d like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand
and hear them echo through the hills
for peace throuout the land
thats the song I hear
Let the world sing today
a song of peace
that echoes on
and never goes away
I’d like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony
I’d like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony
I’d like to build the world a home
and funish it with love
grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves

Tony, you seem to do alot of the work I do. I have had for a few years the PLS2 (now 2E). It has done exactly what I intended. At the time I pd maybe 250.00. The 2E can be had separately or you can get the kit which includes a detector for outdoor use.
Either 2 does plumb, level, plumb and level, or fixed square lines.
The company is good, the people human and the tool-great. Ask Terry Eaton how he likes his 2E, he won the drawing for it at the Fest here.
A great place for Information, Comraderie, and a sucker punch.

Tony,
Set if on the floor and it will shoot a straight line out and up the wall and ceiling too for that matter.
Set it with the beam at 34.5/54 and there's your cabs. 7' (+strong 5/8's for the frame) and there's the soffit your building.
Mount it on the included clamp and spring clamp it to something tall..........a thirdhand for instance...........and with it locked on the "crosshair" setting you point straight down and you have two lines 90degs from one another for as far as they can go. Higher-farther.
Great tool for the initial kitchen job visit. How bad is that ceiling/soffit/floor. Set it on the counter and take some measurements. Really a got to have tool, no matter what brand/company you go with. Course, this from a dumb carpenter. And I know what I'm talking about because I've got 57 yrs of dumb.
edit: maybe someone with a PLS2 would want to trade up to a 2E. Might be a good used one for sale right here.

Cal's right about the PLS 2E.
After getting it at Riverfest I can't believe I was ever able to do without it!
Absolutly marvelous for tile work and great for getting the cabinet height as Cal mentioned.
Never took it to an initial kitchen job visit. Would be a great marketing oppurtunity.

I've got a B&D Bull'seye that does a great job for the least price.
Re your tag line is that Manlow?
it is the song they based the Coke commercial on...
Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? I woke up in a Soho doorway A policeman knew my name He said "You can go sleep at home tonight If you can get up and walk away" I staggered back to the underground And the breeze blew back my hair I remember throwin' punches around And preachin' from my chair chorus: Well, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?) I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?) Tell me, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?) 'Cause I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?) I took the tube back out of town Back to the Rollin' Pin I felt a little like a dying clown With a streak of Rin Tin Tin I stretched back and I hiccupped And looked back on my busy day Eleven hours in the Tin Pan God, there's got to be another way Who are you? Ooh wa ooh wa ooh wa ooh wa ... Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? (chorus) I know there's a place you walked Where love falls from the trees My heart is like a broken cup I only feel right on my knees I spit out like a sewer hole Yet still recieve your kiss How can I measure up to anyone now After such a love as this? (chorus)
While it's usually true "ya get what ya pay for" , I was wondering about the 100 buck version myself. If you get that one, give us a review.
"Meet the new boss -same as the old boss"
Yeah I am thinking that I will get the PLS2e and one of the 90º line generators....
keep the PLS as far away from the mud as possible...Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Just wrote that WHO line cuz I could tell you're a fan... Some of their songs end kinda funny, lyrics wise. Remember which one ends with "Yourselves - Cleveland!" ?

This is one of those semi junk tools but I think it will do tile as good or better than most of the high $ stuff. One of the usual mfrs light Strait Line makes one but some of them have three beams, two at 90 and a diagonal. Have not used one but for casual use I think it wouls be fine. Sportsman Guide catalog used to have them for about $20.

Probably would not use it to set the tiles on the Space Shuttle but what the heck.
Maybe it's just me but you lyrical tagline takes a long time to scroll through and probably eats up a lot of bandwidth.
I know but every since tuesday I feel like singin...
Tommy: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.See me, feel me, touch me, heal me.See me, feel me, touch me, heal me, heal me, heal me.Chorus: Listening to you I get the music.Gazing at you I get the heat.Following you I climb the mountain.I get excitement at your feet!Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story.Listening to you I get the music.Gazing at you I get the heat.Following you I climb the mountain.I get excitement at your feet![TOMMY AND CHORUS]Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story.Listening to you I get the music.Gazing at you I get the heat (heat).Following you I climb the mountain.I get excitement at your feet!Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story.Ohhhhh, listening to you I get the music.Gazing at you I get the heat.Following you I climb the mountain.I get excitement at your feet!Right behind you I see the millions. On you I see the glory. From you I get opinions. From you I get the story.Listening to you!
