   Maybe, but it would be an expensive choice. And heavy to aply to a wall. I use ice and water shield when I want a membrane type

   I would want to check the perm rating and ask a manufacturer if they have a recommendation for which type.

   I know there are EPDMs that are used for gaskets and some kinds of weather strip materials.

   Why? Got a deal on a truckload?

   got the deal that would make rez cry...

   I've used the I&C before but never EPDM for this application...Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->

   EPDM is used as pond liners.

   Another use I just learned about is to kill grass, sans Roundup.  Bakes the roots of the grass.

   Just clear standard 4-6 mill plastic spread out on a yard will kill the grass with sunburn.

   Yeah but EPDM costs more.

   Plus the weight keeps it in place.

   Plus it's reusable.

   I forgot about the pond liners. But if a liner leaks a bit, who's to care?;)I save epdm tear offs for truck and tool tarp covers. Nice to hae a sheet of EPDM to throw of=ver a table say on site overnite and not worry about it blowing away
