The lights in my mother’s house (old farm, combination of old and new wiring) have been flickering at odd intervals for the last couple weeks. The line comes in to a pole, then splits to the barn and the house. She hasn’t been able to get an electician yet, they’re all too busy. We haven’t been able to connect the flickering to pump, or freezer, etc. It isn’t the dimming that you get when there’s a load on the line, it’s about a ten second flickering that comes and goes. No recent lightning storms, but lots of rain. We know she needs an electrician, but try to get one!!! How serious is this? We’re wondering about bare wires, mice, etc,

Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.
