I inherited (from my carpenter grandfather) a Millers Falls miter box – a large backsaw that slides in a cast-iron frame to make miter cuts with. I’d like to sell it but don’t know how much it’s worth. I’d like to find a buyer in the Portland, OR area if possible. Any ideas out there?

Put it on E-bay, it'll go for what its worth, they pay shipping so don't matter where it goes to.
or
Sell it to Jeff Buck, but don't let him stiff you for the shipping, especially if you got to take it out of the $2
Why do you want to sell it??
It's a neat tool, I've used the one you are talking about or something similiar.
Others may disagree, but I don't think it has much value as a usable tool, but may as a an antique.
Your Grand Pa trusted this tool to you. Are you sure that selling it is really what you want to do?
Have you advertised it locally?
Perhaps there is someone who knew or knew of your grandfather that this item may have value to, and it will likely be cared for.
Good Luck,
Eric

Clean it up and display it on a bookcase or something. It would make a great conversation piece.
