I love to use antlers as handles and pulls on furniture I build and will also be putting antlers on everything in the new place…
I would like to know if any one else has taken the time to embilish any of theie projects in this fasion and have they used a different type of anchor system?
Thanks, Pogo

Pogo,
Do you happen to have any pictures of furniture with some of these Antler handles on them? Sounds like a great idea for a log cabin.
Thanks,
Chad
The only digital camera I have is a phone! :(I met a gin soaked barroom queen in Memphis, She tried to take me up stairs for a ride!
I've seen them used many times with most of an antler as a large pull on bathroom doors and such. Seen even more chandeliers made out of them. Small pieces used for cabinet pulls. Coat racks, pot hangers, robe hook, table legs, back scratchers, you name it.
Can't really comment on the attachment details - never paid that much attention.
Many of the large door handles simply had screws run straight through from the front - and I do recall seeing some where the screw was countersunk and some epoxy or something filled in over the head.
you mean like this?
