I'd give em a try. They seem to be Sweedish Carharts, triple stitched etc. Not my style, but I don't dare to be different.
More like swedish skillers.JT
Exactly like Skillers. Think they changed the company name?Billedited to add: Skillers are from Sweden, invented by Matti Viio, IIRC.

Skillers and Blaklader are different companies. In Sweden we have three major work cloth manufacturers, Skillers (the original name in Sweden is Snickers!), Blaklader and Fristads. I think only Skillers and Blaklader are available in USA. All three are basic the same concept whit only miner detail differences.
Thanks for clearing that up. I had thought that the designs were proprietary, but apparently not anymore.BillEdit: Welcome to Breaktime. I see that the above was your first post.

I actually like the look and design of the pants with the reinforced knees, but the huge hanging pockets turn me off. I wear a tool belt, and I feel like having those extra hanging pockets (even though you can tuck them in) would make me feel like a dufus walking into a lumber yard, ya know?

They do have them without the saddle bag pockets. Takes a bit of searching.
If you really want them without the saddlebag pockets just buy them with the pockets and tuck them into the front pockets. These pockets are great and you will really miss them when they are not there.
I own several pairs, pants and shorts. These clothes are bulletproof. They do have a premium cost up front but I was going through 3 or 4 pairs of carhart denims a year and I have been wearing one of the pants for almost 2 years now. Great stuff
I have both the long pants and shorts. They don't look as doofy as you might think (at least I tell myself that!). The front pockets that tuck in/pull out are extremely usefull. I retired my carrharts from everyday use.
In my experience the sizes run a bit small. I wear a 35-36 waist in everything else, these I had to use a 38.

I really like mine.
Very comfortable and very well made.
I would like more but the price is a little stiff for me right now.
I like the looks of them too.
I will be buying more when my regular work pants need replaced.
Knee pads are a very big plus for me also.

"welcome to my world"
SIL has some, loves them. He particularily likes the knee pads. Been trying to talk me into getting some.....but.....got six new pairs of Carharts this winter (two-lined) on clearance at a local tack/feed shop. About $24-$35 ea. I'm set for a while.
I think they are a little pricey also.
I wish folks like them and Duluthe Trading would consider making 36" inseams in under 36" waist sizes for us normal people.
Even Carhartts have to be special order mostly. If I wanted to work in Capri pants, I wouldn't be in construction..LOL

Seriously Folks, I need a home for 3 lovers of your life.
Get a Utilikilthttp://www.thinkgeek.com/apparel/hoodies/9be6/Although you could be setting a fashion trend with your capri's.
You a tall guy Sphere?Never would have figured that. Maybe something to do with them crazy heights you work at. Somehow seems safer to think you are a bit shorter way up there.Myself, I'm about 6'5". Used to buy 36" inseams, but haven't for the last few years - don't seem as though I need em that long - And I haven't been "floodin".There was someone selling Bucketboss heavy duty duck canvas Skillers-duplicate work pants with all the accesories and clip on tool pouches and vests for pretty cheap.I bought about 6 pair of the pants and a vest and all the pouches for about $135-150. Much better than the $60 a pair #### at Duluth. Now that I think about it, need to find me some of them shorts too for the summer. The clip-on pouches are super handy.Apparently, Bucket boss licensed some of the skiller's stuff way back and than discontinued it. The vest is identical and the pants are too just about, and the pouches are a dead match as well.heavy duty stuff - might do a check on Ebay for BB stuff to see if anymore of the new old stock is floating around. Also check on Ebay for Skiller's stuff before you pay Duluth's prices. The problem with their catalog is that they have everything in those sketchy-style illustrations that make everything look real cool. On their website they also have pictures side-by-side with the illus and some of the coolness wears off when you see it in real life.JT
6'4'' , 175. I quit Duluth..just haven't decided what to switch to.
I also am not roofing daily anymore, back to my "roots" and don't need the heavy duty wear as much.
Now that it's shorts season again, inseams are no issue. LOL.
Thanks for the heads up.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks
