Look, just send me to my drawer. This whole talking-to-you thing is like double punishment.
how did you screw up the hinge hole boring? too far from the edge? wrong diameter?
35mm or 40mm?
been there done that.
Bondo works great. patch and rebore
i have a boughten jig that i used to set up the setback of the hole. well the hinges i used came with a template that showed the hinges needed to set back about a 1/8 farther.
no problem on my single doors, there just off center 1/8. but on double doors with no stile they hit! so i could trim a little off each door[they are all finished now] or find some 3/4 offset hinges instead of 5/8 to move them outward.
i was finding 3/4 hinges at 5.00 per hinge, ovis had them for 1.20 so i ordered some from them, they say there shipped and heading this way.
just a screw up,but at least the doors are still good..... larryYOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'TMOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THEDUCT TAPE.
Their pricing is good, particularly so on drawer accessories in the Rev-A-Shelf line.
Like many distributors nowadays, their inventories are lower, and often you have to wait for something because they need to order it.
