Anyone have one of these? I’m looking for something very portable for small trim but somewhat accurate or am I better off with a miter box and a hand saw? Thanks for any feedback. -Ed

Been looking at these for a long time for the same purpose you stated.
Last week I had to do some base shoe on the upper floor of a finished home. Didn't want to drag the Makita 1013 up there - weight, size, and dust. Didn't want to run up and down the stairs and out into the rain for all the cuts - lots of stairs, lots of very small pieces.
Was in Menards and they had the Bosch on sale for $150. Stood there and looked at it for a while and the 30 day home trial blurb on the box caught my eye. Decided to buy it and give it a try.
Cut much better than I expected - even shaving off a 32nd on a piece that was too long. Dust is minimum. Very portable. Didn't take much room in the small hall area I had to work in.
Only did about 40 cuts with it on pine base shoe, but that was enough to convince me to throw away the box - for me, it's a keeper.
I also have the Fein multi tool and think this will take over some of the jobs I use that for, since the blades are about a third the cost.
I say, buy one, give it a try, and if you decide it really doesn't do what you want - use the Bosch 30 money back guarantee and return it with clear conscious.
Shoeman, thanks for the reply. Sounds like that's exactly what I'm looking for and for the same reason. I was wondering if Menards sold them, I'll stop by there today. Thanks again. -Ed
