My wife and I are considering whether we should purchase a home or undertake the adventure of building a home. We have our eye on a couple of different lots and have a basic plan. We are basically trying to figure out whether or not we can afford to build before committing to having a full set of blueprints done up. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to go about this without spending a bunch of cash and whether or not there is software that can assist the do-it-yourselfer in this regard we would appreciate the heads up.
