I’m a regular lurker, infrequent poster, who just got back from a week in Mesa, Arizona, where I did my usual list of jobs for my 78-year-old mother. In the process, I discovered that there has been significant leakage behind an aluminum/vinyl soffit and facia job, which completely rotted out several sections of 2×6 facia board.
I managed to get some repairs in place and re-flashed the areas, but it’s clear that a reroof is in the near future. It will involve some new decking and probably a permanent solution to the facia problem.
The question is, “Who to get to do the job?” Mom is leery of a lot of the drive-by looters masquerading as contractors that seem to congregate in her retirement community, so I thought I’d ask if any of you folks work in the Mesa area. Or if you can recommend a reliable roofing company there.
A good price would be nice, but good work is even more useful.
