Are they pretty new, can’t find much doing a search in the discussions. Below is a description from Fastenmaster. Seems like it won’t be that much more work then top side screwing and won’t be vulnerable to the issues with other fastners and composites (notice their language: “No need for a sledge hammer, a biscuit cutter or a bow wrench. “). Of course they don’t say anything about not needing a blow torch.

=======================
EASE OF INSTALLATION
• Above-the-deck installation: The IQ System is designed to be installed while standing on the deck. This makes installation much faster and easier than “below-the-deck” hidden fasteners.
• Just Clip & Flipâ„¢: Simply align the clips with the joists, attach to the bottom of each board using one 7/8″ screw in the center hole of each clip. Flip. Then install the joist screw. In three easy steps, you’re done.
• One clip: The IQ System is engineered with one style clip. No special Right Clip, Left Clip, Butt Joint Clip. One clip does it all.
• One tool: The only tool you will need to install the IQ system is a drill. No need for a sledge hammer, a biscuit cutter or a bow wrench.
• Butt joints: Use the same IQ Clip. Align board ends, gapping between where necessary. Center clip over the seam and install two 7/8″ screws in outside clip holes. Note: Hardwoods require predrilling at butt joints.

Never seen them.
I went to their site, read directions, looked at picture - still can't figure out how they work exactly - can't see the holes they are talking about.
Maybe go back to their site and click on "find a FastenMaster Pro near you" - ask him how well they work!
Also don't understand how use of their product will eliminate the need for a bow wrench.
Maybe someone will know more.

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
Someone posted on them last month on the JLC site and said they stink. I'll try to find the link, I just looked quickly and did not see it. If I remember right, he liked the concept but after using them, he was not happy with them.
