If you're looking at this for a wall that's already plastered, no.
It's meant to be sprayed onto a wall before it's closed up.
A blow in product is what you need...buic
That site says there are two versions, one spray and one blow.

I think they have a slow rise (all night cure) foam ment to be poured in a closed bay.Rebuilding my home in Cypress, CA
Also a CRX fanatic!
Oh, good Lord, no. But I can give him two dollars and an assault rifle.
You're right, they do say it can be used in "blind cavities",

I have found that the cost of DIY spray foams are more $ than having a pro come out and do it. Why pay extra to get dirty.

Because, most people don't live in Boston. :) And elsewhere in the rest of the country people are finding things differently. For instance, a coupoe (2) years ago I got quotes from a couple of people in Georgia and the cost was twice what other FHB were getting charged. It may be the poor south, but its not the cheap south.
ok... so anyone in northern ohio priced it out either way? i would call and get quotes but haven't closed on the house yet.
We had our bonus room sprayed from the attic side. It's paneled and would've been a pain to detail for air infiltration otherwise. Cost was only $150-$200 more than what I came up with for buying kits. Brogdon Insulation was the contractor, FWIW.
I think I found their website (http://www.brogdoninsulation.com/), but did you pay for open or closed cell foam? Also, how much SqFt and thickness? Trying to determine the cost per board-foot.
They are in Lilburn. I'll need to contact them!
All,
What is the current fedeal requirement for attic insulation value? Is it R-14? I thought I remembered the walls being R-11, but I honestly couldn't remember about the attic.

Sorry for the delayed response- I was out of town for an extended holiday.
That's them. We got closed-cell, 2-lb foam. I'll have to look up the numbers to see what I'd estimated for footage.
I don't know about any federal R-value requirements for attic insulation. Most references I've seen recommend R-38 for Georgia.
I have been using Tiger Foam for more than 4 years. I use the rapid rise with the fire retardant. I am about to do another large spray job for my son and his wife (4000+bf). Some of the people that post say that they can find closed cell installed cheaper than buying Tiger Foam, if that is the case I would hire them next week. The fire retardant aspect of TF is high on my list of +'s. Yes you can use part os the can and shut it off and use it again the same week, may require new hoses though.
would you say it is easier and faster to install than cellulose? how much price difference are we talking? have you ever bought your tiger foam from ebay?
I have only bought direct from Tiger Foam. It goes on about as fast as you could spray paint thick latex for each coat. I have never put in cellulose so I can't compare.
