i need to know how to figure the radius of an arch if i know the length of the leg and the height of the opening

You take the (Length squared) and divide that by (8 x Height) and add it to the (height divided in half).
(Wx² ÷ 8xH) + (H ÷ 2)= Radius
Length - 72"
Height - 12"
72x72 = 5184
8x12 = 96
5184/96 = 54
12/2 = 6
54+6 = 60" (Radius)
