I want to find some good 60 68 mirrored bifold doors. Seems simple enough, but all I have found are cheesy, bottom rail, fall off the track, pieces of light gauge rolled steel frame, fluff. I want a solid backed mirror door system with no stinken’ bottom track. Any one seen any west of the Miss.?

With the exception of the bottom rail, I think that you have perfectly described every bifold door I've ever seen.
I admire your zeal in the search, but I do not envy you at all. I'm fairly certain that "quality bifold doors" is an oxymoron.
YesMa'am,
There seem to be a few good bifold doors out there, the one from new york for example. The shipping will kill me. The other coice is to get some after market hardware and put em' together yourself. My client found myknobs.com and they had some good tracks and roller assemblies and my glass guy says he can glue on good mirrors. But I worry about the liability and compliance of various glass codes I have never heard of. Need that factory model. Maybe I should start my own line of doors. perfect the niche and sell the whole kit to stanley for a couple of mill. Jolly
perfect the niche and sell the whole kit to stanley......
I like that idea -- let me know if you ever get started. I want to be a regular customer. Cuz, like I said, every other one I've ever seen was junk.Vast projects should not be founded on half vast ideas.
well, I installed 4 sets of them a year ago.... - wish I could remember the brand - no bottom track - a top track with pins top and bottom corners - mirror glued to a wood frame - ya see them more commonly in FL than around here (midwest) - - we were building a house for an ex-pat Floriander.... I'll see if I can find anything out brandwize - it'll take a couple of days...
Hey Jolly,
Here are some links to doors and door hardware. Something in here will help.

This is enough stuff to keep you looking for a few hours. It aught to give you an idea of what is out there and how much for product and shipping.
Enjoy,
