am trying to find a reproduction product to finish off a new vinyl floor in a kitchen. these nifty metal corner finishers and the trim that closes the top where the old linoleum climbs th wall. i love this idea to minimize water damage and crevice grunge, as this home is destined to become a student rental someday.
if the attachment shows up, on the left is a picture of our old floor (yes, it’s terribly nasty. no comments please!) house built in 1925; possibly this is the original floor.) this is the worst spot, but it happens to show the inside corner piece, the outside corner and the cap/top edge. i know diddly about the terminology.
on the right is the new vinyl in the “new” house (it’s next door and built in 1935). the new vinyl is not trimmed or glued yet, and marked up with a grease pencil– i know it’s not even now, so again, no comment on that please! LOL.
anyone seen these things or a modern day equivalent? i really like the art deco look and would like to keep in the character of the house, but i need to finish this up so i can install the appliances.
all leads and suggestions appreciated.
thanks!

thanks razz.
BTW, what are the correct names for the sort of trims pictured at left? it might help if i was using the correct terminology in my title :-)
thanks
Ha, that's a good question. I'd be guessing at it.
Best wait for someone more knowledgeable. Should be along shortly.

If you can't find the answer here you might want to try the forum on Old House Journal, the House Chat here at Taunton or the John Bridge Tile Forum.
